Manuel Martinez M.D.
Dr. Martinez attended medical school at Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed his internship and residency at Pennsylvania Hospital/University of Pennsylvania HCS. He did his gastroenterology fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. In July 2000, Dr. Martinez was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College and has developed his interest in teaching and research. He has served as an advisor to the Colon Cancer Control Coalition and has been actively involved in community outreach activities for Colon Cancer Awareness.
He has joined the Concorde Medical Group to further pursue his interests amongst a group of excellent physicians and dedicated staff. His particular areas of interests include, Reflux disease, Nutrition, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Gallbladder and Biliary Disease, Hepatology, Colon Cancer Screening and Prevention.
Dr. Martinez's experience in Endosonography (EUS) with FNA as well as Capsule Endoscopy will facilitate the latest endoscopic modalities to be available to patients in the out- patient or office setting.
